Education Visa Forms
Requirement for Education Visa
1. Original Passport with at least six months validity and available visa pages. (Non-Kuwaiti passport need to document showing legal status in Kuwait.)
2. Duly filled one Education Visa application form with two photos taken within the past six months. The “visa form” and “work history” must be filled completely.
3. The recommendation from the respective University/ University of Foreign Languages in the event of Schooling.
4. The recommendation from the respective schools in the event of lecturing at the schools under the Ministry of Education.
5. Direct invitation from the Ministry, the Universities or Schools in Myanmar mentioning the duration of stay.
6. Incomplete applications will be rejected at the counter.
Visa Fees
Single Education Visa -90 Days KWD 15.000
Multiple Education Visa with 1 year validity -1 year KWD 50.000
Visa Information
• The stay for Education Visa is 90 days, which is extendable by submitting concrete evidence.
• The validity of the Education Visa is 3 months from the date of issue, which cannot be renewed or refunded. Embassy of Myanmar will issue visa for completed application as soon as received it.
• Multiple Journey Entry Education Visa validity varies from minimum 3 months to maximum 1 year from the date of issue. The validity of the Education Visa (Multiple Entry) is one year, which is extendable. Multiple stays and entries are permitted.
• Application of Multiple Journey Entry Education Visa is considered and issued on a case by case basis at the discretion of the Visa Officer. However, First time visitors for Education purpose are not eligible to apply Education Visa (Multiple Entry).
Photography Guide
• The photograph must have been taken within the last six months
• The photograph should be taken in color and must be with a white background.
• Side or angled views are Not accepted.
• Photo Size: 35 mm x 45 mm or standard photo of 2 in x 2 in
• Photo Appearance: The photograph must be a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly.
• Digital Photos: Digitally reproduced photographs must be reproduced without discernible pixels or dot patterns.
• Photocopied photographs are NOT accepted.
